What will happen during the first therapy and counselling session?
The therapist will provide an introduction of what to expect in the first and following sessions.

An open conversation with you to understand you and your situation so as to help you journey through. Questions may be asked and you are encouraged to be honest and open as the therapist is here to help, not to judge you. Just be yourself.

In terms of therapy approach that will be used, it could be an integrated approach or a specific therapy. It depends on the nature of the issue faced, amongst other factors. There is no one size that fits all. Even within a single therapy approach, different strategies and tools could be used.

How long is each therapy and counselling session?
Each session typically lasts for 60 minutes. On certain sessions, the length of session could be extended to a longer session to help client understand and work through the issues and enhance the achievement of therapy goals, instead of halting the flow of therapy to manage the limited time.

What is the booking process to begin the first therapy and counselling session?
It is a simple 2-step process.

1. Fill up book online form to indicate your contact details and select the preferred available time slot for the first session.
​
2. Upon confirmation, you will receive an email confirmation of the appointment for the first session.
​
You are ready for the the first session.
If I prefer face-to-face session, where would the session be conducted?
As it is important to have a safe and conducive environment for any therapy session, this would be held in a reputable counselling and therapy clinic.

The clinic is centrally located in the city area and accessible via MRT and bus stops within walking distance. Location details would be provided upon confirmation of therapy appointment.

What if I wish to change or cancel the appointment?
If you wish to change or cancel a confirmed appointment, please inform at least 24 hours before the confirmed appointment time. This will allow time for other clients to consider the time slot and schedule to be managed optimally.

​For last minute notification of change or cancellation:-

Less than 24 hours from confirmed appointment time, cancellation fees of SGD50 (or equivalent) for the booked appointment shall apply.
